Most all of the filming of the television series Northern Exposure was within a few miles of our home. Several of our friends became NX fans quite naturally. The show presented a curious blend of sophistication and ruggedness, plus it featured an eclectic collection of personalities, most of whom we came to like. A couple NX cast members worked out at the same health club we visited and we periodically bumped into cast members around town as well.

When this show came to a close, we were saddened. In our opinion, Northern Exposure came to a premature end.
